Seans summary
On Thursday morning the two teams took to the field raring to go.
The blacks with their recent loan signing of Dave the cab playing a box to box role.
They started with the daring, I’ll never tan Scotsman Steve in goal, Travor also on sabbatical from the PGA tour in defence with the ever reliable Boris minus his bucket hat. Mr ,I am all legs, Ian and Dave the fish sashaying up and down the wings.
With the striker of strikers and king of quivering legs, demanding nothing but accurate passing from his team mates Bambi, leading the line while behind 2 or 3 defenders.
The reds started with Big man Graham blocking out both the sun and the goals in goal. While in defence back from another artic expedition to find himself Walter, assisted by the Welsh wizard Steve the 2nd fastest Welsh player maybe, to hail from the valleys.
In the midfield was your truly the Irish-American nine toed, inspector gadget legged freak. On the wing was the Dutch all legs that don’t work Toni feeling good after selling several €2.69 bottles of Mercadona wine for €400 to unsuspecting tourists.
Up front for the reds were Toe poke Ken and the Portuguese hitman hopping on his one good leg Paulo.
The blacks started well with the majority of possession. But the reds held firm and when they managed to steal the ball a long pass found Ken alone and with his usual flair crashed the ball into the back of the net.
Play resumed with again the blacks having the better of possession.
Everytime they got close to the reds goal Walter beamed in from some unknown planet to block the shot or big Graham in goal blocked out all sun light and pulled off a miracle save.
In the 2nd period Paulo again left unmarked smashed the ball into the Reds goal.
Things got worse for reds in the 2nd period when Paulo struck again to make it 3-0. But in the 3rd period inspired by some good passing by Dave the cab and Ian in midfield Bambi go one back for the blacks.
In the 3 period the reds were tiring, Toni and yours truly were taking shifts trying to corral Dave the cab in midfield but despite our best efforts he managed to work a move that resulted in another goal for Blacks.
It was about the time the Bambi decided to take the opportunity to critique H’s refereeing display. This resulted in a sin binning for 2 min. During which time the black played much better.
The game was was on a knife edge when Ken again unmarked up front struck agin. The blacks had some communication issue in defence and on several occasions failed to notice Ken and Paulo lurking near the goal.
Bambi reentered the field of play and I believe may have scored a third for blacks.
The Blacks pressed looking for the equalizer but Welsh Steve put his nuts in harms way blocking a shot from Scotsman Steve.
Then late in the 4th period Paulo put thru with a long ball for the nine toe Dublin Messi put the game to bed 5-3 Reds.
Please be advised no animal when hurt during the filming of this game. Bambi stayed on his feet the whole duration.

Game 2 was a 6 aside played by two well matched teams…
The blacks had Keith in goal, Pete 👻 & Dave 👑 in defence with Daz 🏉 , Paul 🐕🦺 floating and the returning Fez 🦮 up front.
The reds had Eddie 🥅 in goal, Prak💈& Kevo 🥮 in defence, Alan 🎤, Dave 🦉in midfield and Darren 💷 up front.
The reds were easier on the eye and played some good football however Dave and Pete defended well and when the reds got within shooting distance Keith made some good saves…
As the reds pressed for a goal, they left a few spaces and Fez was able to tee up Daz who riffled the blacks in front.. 1-0
Fez back healed to Daz who returned another back heal and Fez poked the ball passed Eddie. 2-0 blacks.
The reds kept pushing with Dave, Darren and Alan all going close, Kevo had a number of speculative efforts at goal but Keith held firm..
Daz was again put through on goal and he dispatched his second of the game. 3-0 blacks.. The reds started their fight back Dave slotted in from close range, then Darren lashed one past Keith..
Fez extended the lead for the blacks with a double salvo 5-2 blacks, but the game was far from over. Prak let loose towards goal, Keith put out his right hand and deflected the ball for a corner, but the force hurt his little pinky…
Eddie pulled off a number of saves keeping the game close, using his experience to deny Fez and Pete on a rare move over the half way was put through on goal but Eddie stood firm and saved his effort.
At the other end the reds played some great stuff pulling the blacks from side to side Darren slotted another after a mix up in defence 5-3 blacks 👀. John had up to this point had had a quiet game but as the scores narrowed and players got tired the rules started to be broken.
A few late tackles almost had Daz in the sin bin ! Finally the reds scored a 4th and it was squeaky bum time for the blacks who were relying on the long ball to Fez, only they couldn’t pass it anywhere near…
Keith came out of goal to add some more energy to the blacks and was put through on goal a number of times, but due to his lengthy injury he hit a few wild efforts that almost made the A7… that said he had honed his goal keeping skills 👏
Darren, Dave, Kevo, Alan and Prak were passing and moving with intent and almost drew level on a number of occasions, the post, Daz’s legs and fortune were all that stood between a draw and the final result…
Blacks 5 – Reds 4
Reds the better all round team, but the Reds more potent in front of goal.
