Health Update :
It seems my condition was quite complicated and it took 2 months of tests and scans before the specialists could come to a final conclusion.
The initial diagnosis of plasma cell myeloma ( terminal ) was dismissed š„³and I am being treated for Lymphoma ( Non-Hodgkins lymphoma stage 4 ).
This has a good chance of being cured š.
Iām undergoing 2 types of chemotherapy which involves long stays in hospital.
Due to my immune system being vulnerable, visitors are not recommended.
Iām keeping up to date with all the matches at Pueblo and look forward to being able to join in again, maybe late summer – although Iāll need to slap on a bit of weight first since I could be mistakenĀ forĀ BambiĀ š¤

Dave I was diagnosed with non Hodgkin’s lymphoma when I was 47 and had 8 sessions of chemo three weeks apart and 20 daily radiotherapy sessions to treat it and it responded.
High grade lymphoma responds best as while it grows fast it will shrink with treatment just as fast.
Must admit, it, together with other complications, stopped me playing football at the time and it’s only in the last few months I have been comfortable after joining the walking football team.
Am sure you will be back with your trusty left foot once the treatment is concluded. Have to say Barnsley’s easiest game this season the Owls away.
