Yet another season comes to an end, we’ve had 115 registered players, with Bambi our only ever present attendee.
We’ve seen 3 of us reach 80 and with Dasher rejoining can boast 6 octogenarians assuming Boris returns for a game in the future.
We’ve played teams from UK, Austria and Netherlands and been filmed by Reuters TV
Now for the bad news
It has become noticeable recently of the amount of times players are being cautioned for running or tackling which in themselves are clear violations of the rules, but the response to the referee and non-acceptance of his decision is a greater violation of the rules.
We’re even seeing players storming off ruining the game for the rest of their team.
It pains us to have to do this but we have suspended one membership until November and are having to consider the imposing of one match bans for regular repeat offenders.
Lads, lets reign back and remember the rules and play within them when we resume in September
