POLISH BLADE PUTS BLACKS TO THE SWORD.

Five Reds kicked off against six Blacks and were soon three goals to the good – Lesh with 2 and Nick.

The Blacks pulled back the first two of an excellent first half hat-trick from new boy and man of the match Tim.

Again the jinx on debutants came into play as Tim succumbed (that sounds rude somehow) to a pulled hamstring later in the game.

The Reds stretched their lead by further four goals with Lesh completing his hat trick and one each from Dave R and Nick.

Nick’s accuracy, in no way matching his steel man team mate, was further negated by some awe inspiring saves by Fred The Cat reminding us older chaps of Tomaschewski.
N.B. Fred’s comparison to a cat is, however, not a reflection of his prowess in goals but of his habit of shitting in his neighbours’ gardens.

Tony J and Yorky for the Blacks and Adam for the Reds also scored before the game ran out with the score Reds 10 Blacks 6. Tim, Nick and Lesh all having contributed four counters apiece.
