Game kicked off with six blacks versus five reds scoring two quick goals.

Late comers Charles and James joined the blacks with Nigel already swopping his black bib for a red one to be on Mark’s mob.

When the scheduled final whistle blew at 11am the score stood at 6 – 1 to the reds. I think that was when Charles scored his spectacular effort. Well done Charles thank you for your complimentary message.

As there was no other group awaiting to play we agreed to play on a bit and, following a magnificent performance from the blacks, a 2 – 1 victory was secured.
