A six-a-side game started with a brilliant defence slitting pass from Lesh enabling Tomas ( back from his loan spell at Barcelona) to open the scoring with a crisp shot.
Unfortunately for Lesh he and Tomas were on opposing sides.
Almost immediately, Tomas and Tony Hagi struck up an understanding which developed as the game progressed and resulted in their sharing all five of the blacks goals.
An entertaining contest saw he reds finish with three excellent goals – two from James and only one from Nick, despite his having a number of splendid efforts saved by Colin the Manc and even more blocked by resolute defending from Charles & co.
All in all an intriguing encounter with a number of excellent personal performances, none more so than the from the two aforementioned non Brits.
Despite his cracking hat trick, Tony Hagi was just pipped for Man of the Match
by Tomas back on duty here on the coast.
