From Keith – a copy of an email I received today
‘dear keith, a physio came today for the second time and will be visiting weekly. we’re off this afternoon for the implant to be checked at the hospital. we’re still waiting on the cardiologist appointment. colin has been weaker the last few days and had 2 haemorrhages yesterday. the G.P. yesterday has referred him to the memory clinic and urgently to the urologist as he said he’s pretty sure colin has bladder cancer. thankfully he doesn’t remember the doctor saying this so certainly can’t remember anything about me. he still keeps saying he’s fine to everyone who asks but does say to me he doesn’t feel right. our friends have been taking us out every sunday for a ride which has been lovely and call up about 3 times a week and colins’ sister has been helping out with doctors’ visits. i know colin’s missing spain.
it’s very frosty today but sunny and bright, for a change as it’s been grey and wet mostly since we’ve been here, typical welsh weather ha, ha. i hope and i expect it’s better with you. take care, very best wishes carol, colin, gino and les.
