News from Keith – an update on Dave the Owl
Thanks Keith for your encouraging message 💙
I’m now just over half way through the treatment, which will not end until Spring. Also, I’m strongly advised to isolate until my immune system recovers. So, until they tell me otherwise, we are isolating because if I went down with even just a heavy cold, it would interrupt the treatment and cause further delays. So we’re not taking any risks .
I’m 4 stone lighter than when we first met 🤭 – so I think I will need most of the summer to build my weight and muscle strength back up.
Once I get the green light, I’ll let you know and join in perhaps refereeing to begin with. Fishing will probably be the very first thing I do because I can still semi-isolate. Again, I let you know once I’m ok to go.
In the meantime, give the lads my regards and have a great winter break & New Year.
