The game started with the orange bibs in control of the game and deservedly went into a 2 goal lead, with goals by Dave C and Frank Maddison. Wrighty had a quiet word with popeye and pointed out which way he was kicking and this seemed to make a difference as popeye sobered up and started to influence the game.
Goals followed from Joe, Darren and Steve M for the yellows and they won the game by 3 -2
Popeye winning the MOM award to complete a happy birthday for him.
