12 hearty souls ventured out into the rain for the Friday morning session at Cerrado.

On arrival, we had some standing water on the pitch which the enthusiastic ground staff (Joe, Ian, Darren) soon brushed away.

In a very even contest on a slick pitch it was nip and tuck with goalkeepers KDN and Ian excelling.

Both teams moved the ball well with all the players enjoying the fast surface and great spirit in which the game was played and In the end it was the Oranges who managed a 2 – 0 victory.

Over a few beers in the bar later everyone agreed that playing in what was at times light drizzle was well worth the effort.
