Orange’s 🍊 1 v Yellows 🍋 3

On a warm sunny day at the PoliDeportivo the Usual Suspects (Yellows) were the deserving winners despite playing one player less against the Oldfarts(Oranges).

The latter took a surprise lead after 5 mins with a goal from ‘H’ which took a slight deflection off Dazza, sending Terry the Villain in goal the wrong way.

All of the Yellows goals were scored by Dave 🦉 in the next 15 minutes, helped by some really sloppy defending by several of the Oranges defenders, to give the ace goal poacher an easy hat-trick.

The remaining forty minutes of the match remained goal less with Bob outstanding in defence for the Oranges.

The ever improving newcomer Dave 🐝 found his shooting boots and was unlucky not to score for the Oranges with several rasping shots going close or saved by the keeper.

For the Yellows Dave 🦉 was always a threat with Brian ✍️ and Johan providing deft touches in attack.

Olaf for some reason kept handling the ball and was fortunate not to have been sin binned, when asked afterwards if he was taking up rugby he replied in the negative, but that he did  enjoy playing netball!

Kevo did an excellent job in the warm up with no one suffering any injuries during the match, as a result the absent Keef has been sacked from the task upon his return next week!

As a result of the latters absence not surprisingly the bar takings were 50% down, giving the staff an easy lunch time.

Next match Monday 10th May at the PoliDeportivo 10.30 warm up by Kevo for 11am start.
