A sunny 22 degrees greeted the players on their arrival at the polideportivo today.

Geoff Bolton our new 69 year old member made his debut in a 6 against 7 match and after 5 minutes of an attacking, slow paced game our debutant lost control of his body and fell flat on his face , obviously everyone was deeply concerned and worried. There was a group of players who found it very funny, twelve of us to be precise.

And so to the game, which ended in a 3-3 draw goals for Ian 2 Keef 1 for the oranges and sniper 2 and Alan for the lemons.

Highlights of the game was the Commander going down in the second half which resembled a dying wildebeest, again, to lots of uncontrollable laughter.

And so to the bar were the conversation was dominated by our members from the north who went on about mushy peas, curry sauce on chips. It then moved on to Kendo Nagasaki, Billy two Rivers and Les Kellet and David Lowes best friend Shirley Crabtree.

Wouldn’t miss it for the world.

We recommence on Thursday the 4th at 10.30. See you then boys.
