Countdown to the next  game

The first game at our new temporary venue Retamar took place this Thursday with an earlier start too.

The teams on paper looked quite well matched but after a few early exchanges the yellows hit the front with a well taken goal by Kaj, who soon added to their lead.

The Oranges saw lots of the ball and after some concerted pressure were caught out when Steve put the yellows 3-0 up.

As the game wore on, the yellows were struggling to clear their lines after the White City hare aka Pete Downing crashed a shot against the bar.

The Oranges pulled a goal back with a well taken curling lob from Dave the Owl.

Oranges continued to bombard the yellow with Darren on several occasions seeing how hard & how far he could kick the ball.

A nice passing move saw Terry turn his defender and slot home a second low shot from outside the area with his feared left foot.

The last few minutes were now one way traffic and the Oranges got their reward from H , the writer being too upset to notice🙈🥵🥵😂.

Indeed the Oranges had one final chance that went just wide which would have been an amazing comeback. 3-3 a fair result and off to the bar for a deserved few beers.

Good to see Jimmy King up and down the right wing for the yellows
