Time until the next game at Benalmadena Polideportivo
Match report by Geoff
In my last match as the premier correspondent before Christmas due to a visit to the sub-zero South Pennines, it was my pleasure to report on the nine-aside game on Thursday at the Polideportivo. Playing on a small pitch in an endeavour by Breck to encourage 3 touch football this undoubtedly made it much more difficult to score, especially with the smaller goals.
The match started with Eddie in the Blacks goal making an excellent save from a blaster by Ian, tipping the ball around the post for a corner.
No score at end of first session for water break with Reds wasting numerous goal scoring chances.
On 25 minutes, a great cross from Eddie on the left wing found Ken, whose shot narrowly went wide of the Reds goal.
Ken then put Blacks in front, against the run of play, following a poor clearance by Welsh Steve in the Reds goal.
On 30 minutes, Dave M went off with a calf injury leaving Reds a player and was later replaced by player referee Breck.
1-0 to Blacks at the 2nd water break.
On 38 minutes, Ken again with his second goal, spinning and falling to the ground as he struck the ball.
2-0 to Blacks.
Breck, now playing for the Reds in addition to refereeing, was rewarded for his efforts when the ball hit him in goolies with a shot from Ken, I paid him well for that shot.
3rd water break 2-0 to Blacks.
The last session started with an excellent goal by Kevo, following defence splitting pass by man of the match and Barbies girlfriend Ken.
3-0 to Blacks.
To round off an excellent day for him, Ken then scored an individual goal for his hat-trick.
This made the Final score 4-0 to Blacks.
We’ll not mention Kai s goal then that made it 3 for the blacks..
Ken 3
Kai 1
Kevo 1
Good grief
How long have you been with WFS Kevo? You should realise by now that our number 2 administrator and organiser is NEVER wrong.
I would love to have seen some of his statements……
