Time until the next game at Benalmadena Polideportivo
Match Report by H
REDS ….4 versus BLACKS ….2
Just one 10 aside match again at the Polideportivo which got off to a dramatic start with Dazza appearing determined to get his name in lights for all the wrong reasons by stepping into his own penalty area giving the Blacks an early penalty.
Not surprisingly he pleaded his innocence by saying his feet were not in the area and that it was his belly overhanging the line.
Fireman Sam as match referee was not having any of this and overruled Dazza’s desperate excuses.
Kaj then struck a tremendous shot from the spot which unluckily struck the post and much to Darren’s relief was cleared by a Reds defender.
After ten minutes Jonny slammed one past Harry in the Blacks goal. 1-0 to the Reds.
Then Keef put the Reds 2 goals up with a deflected shot going in off Jackie’s arse leaving her spouse Harry in goal looking on helplessly making it a true family affair.
Needless to say Big H was not too impressed.
Just before the first water break Dave ‘S’ limped off claiming a pulled muscle to be replaced by Breck for the Blacks.
Straight from the kick off after the break Keef hit a terrific shot from the halfway mark which flew over the outstretched arms of Big H who was off his goal line protesting that he was not ready for the restart and was still on his way back to his goalmouth after the break.
3-0 to the Reds.
To make matters worse Steve Mac then hit a cracking shot from distance giving Big H no chance, the latter not having the best of days in the Blacks goal it must be said.
Just before the second break the Blacks had a goal disallowed although why this was so is unclear and nobody for the Blacks had the tenacity to challenge John aka Fireman Sam’s judgement.
4-0 at the break.
Third session began with Rory going close only for Keef in the Reds goal showing his versatility and making a fine save.
Kevo pulled one back for the Blacks making it 4-1 to be followed a few minutes later by Keef showing he is only normal or is he a NOBODY by fumbling a shot which luckily went for a corner.
By now Fireman Sam was showing who was in charge by going 20 minutes without a water break obviously thinking the players were all camels and playing in the desert oblivious to the need for them to take on water whilst playing in the sweltering midday sun. Eventually he did find his whistle and blew for a break.
Straight after the break a fine passing movement between Ken and Breck put Kevo into space for his second goal cleverly side footing his shot into the Reds net.
4-2 Reds.
Keef now playing outfield for the Reds put Mr Loasby into space only for the useless git with the goal at his mercy to do a Dazza and blast the ball yards over the bar.
By now new boy Gary (not the pilot) was in goal for the Reds and he made excellent saves from Rory and then Kevo from the penalty spot.
Final score 4-2 to the Reds with the Blacks obviously rueful of missing two penalties.
Outstanding for the Reds undoubtedly was Keef making some excellent saves whilst in goal and his superb goal with Kevo the pick of the Blacks.
