Now we are 6!

WFS celebrates its 6th birthday!

It was but 6 short years ago on the 18th of May that saw a disparate group of expats get together to have a kick around and from there a walking football visionary, Adam Chandler, founded WFS at Elviria on the 18/5/2017 and became the first walking football group in Spain.

From those small beginnings, WFS, Walking Football Spain, developed into the beast that it is today. In excess of 140 members, playing at 2 venues, Benalmadena and Calahonda, continue the tradition of not running while kicking both a football and sometimes, their opponents.

WFS spawned 2 other groups, at Benahavis and El Canadon, who separated from WFS and other venues along the coast now are the homes of Walking Footballers.
