A message from Dave the Owl

Thought I’d send you what is hopefully my last update after a very tough 6 months 😩.

I leave hospital for the last time 🙏 tomorrow ( Monday ) and start on the road to recovery cancer-free.

My immune system is very low following some heavy Chemo , so I need to be careful – no hugs please – but I hope to be watching you lads in a week or so ( or reffing if possible ) .

And looking forward to having my first drop of amber nectar for what seems an eternity 🍻.

I’ve lost a lot of weight and muscle, so it may take a while to build up to a level where I can play again – poco a poco , as they say here !

The match reports from WFS have kept me going ( along with almost every game for the Owls 💙 🥳 ) So keep up the good work Rory & co. and see you all soon
