Time until the next game at Benalmadena Polideportivo
Match report by The Milkman
Yet another cool, breezy day at the Poli was enlivened by the second closely fought contest of the week. Keef introduced Mark, who was making his WF debut today, to the group and then he led a delegation to the defibrillator location in reception.

A late change to the team sheet saw Mike transferred to the Reds as a result of Johan’s late inclusion. Steve Loasby in charge of proceedings today blew for kick off.
Both sides were evenly matched for the first fifteen minutes until Dave (select) fired a cracking right foot shot into the corner of the net. Kevo in goal valiantly managed to get a hand to the ball but couldn’t prevent it going in.
The reds now began to get the upper hand as the referee managed to keep the jogging and tackling of both sides to a minimum.
Dave now grabbed a second for the reds with a rasping drive into the top corner which cannoned off the post giving Kevo no chance. The reds marshalled by Keef at the back augmented by the midfield passing interplay of Irish Dave, debutant Mark, Keith and Dave were well on top at half-time.
After the break the dominance of the reds continued and a shot from Mike was partially saved by Geoff but unfortunately dropped under the bar instead of over it…3-0. Breck now took over in goal for the black outfit and Mick was pushed up front to support George, Johan and Dave the bee in attack.
This tactical change kept the red defence in check and Keef had to restrict his marauding instincts. Following a clever “dummy” from Johan, Mick pulled a goal back for the dark side. Breck in goal was continuing his fine form from Monday and made a number of fine stops to frustrate the red attackers.
However, Mike broke through to make it 4-1 and with the reds now seemingly cruising the blacks threw caution to the wind and pinned the reds back in their own half. This strategy successfully yielded two goals through George (go Bengals!) and Johan which put the reds on edge for the last 10 minutes of the match.
But up stepped hat trick hero Mike to ensure victory for the reds and send Keef home happy. Final score reds 5 blacks 3. Two cracking games in a week
