Countdown to next game at El Canadon
Surprise, surprise the sun was shining again on Saint Bruno’s day. Not sure whether that’s Fernandez or Frank but we know it’s definitely not Tonioli.
That said the blues danced through the pinks midfield a few times today to record a comprehensive 5 – 1 win.
For the second week running, Tony W was on the winning team that he picked! Questions will have to be asked at a high level. Unfortunately steps will be required for me to get there to ask them.
Anyway, the blues started well with 2 early goals then the pinks hit back with, what turned out to be, the high point of their morning.
Some sleepy defending contributed to a few more goals as the plucky Pinks tried hard to fight back. Unfortunately they were thwarted by the post and medium sized Chris who was tougher to beat than a hard boiled egg.
Goal scorers for the blues were Joe Mc 3, Eddie 1 and Chris B 1.
Welcome back to Joe Mc and Rob who have both been on the treatment table recently. Good to see you both back fit and healthy and making strong contributions = €5 each.
Thanks also to Carlos for stepping in at the last minute due to Steve McHugh crying off with self inflicted food poisoning. Steve don’t bother with Masterchef, Spain mate you won’t win.
An enjoyable game especially for those in blue.
