Todays Match report from El Canadon by Wrighty

5 aside at El Canadon on a blistering hot Wednesday morning with the teams lining up as follows
For the Blues, Ray GK, Rob, GI Joe, Johan and Tom and for the Yellows, Steve Y GK, Mark, Tony, Adrian and Wrighty.

The Blues made a strong start and it was no surprise when they took the lead with a goal from Tom following a great passing move.

Yellows roared back but found Ray in his usual great form almost impossible to beat.

A penalty to Yellows, awarded after a defender ran into the box was duly despatched by Wrighty and it was game on.

Mark began to dictate play from the back and Tony finished off a great move to make it 2-1 to the Yellows. The Blues responded well and but for some great saves by Steve Y would have been level.

As the blues tired, Wrighty added a couple of quickfire goals to make the final score Blues 1, Yellows 4
