9 aside at a pleasantly warm and sunny Poli for our regular Thursday morning game.
The yellows started quickly and raced into an early 3 goal lead. The Orange players where quickly asking which idiot had picked the teams?
At the final whistle the final score was a resounding 5 – 2 win for the Yellows, with Little Al making a welcome return with a well taken hattrick.
Big Al also hit the back of the net but in a different way, he somehow managed to throw himself into a goal that was sitting at the side of the pitch nearly demolishing it in the process.
As always a refreshing beer in the bar later was most welcome. The main topic of conversation being “who picked those ####### teams
