A team representing Malaga Walking Football club won the inaugural Baha Whisky Invitational final by beating Athletico Benahavis 4 – 0 in the final.
Captain Ian Salt is pictured receiving the Baha Whisky Trophy for player of the tournament having scored a hat trick in the final and 7 overall Ian also finished tournament top scorer with two hat tricks and another making 7 on the day in total.
In addition to their scoring prowess, Malaga did not concede a single goal all day and proved to be be the best at both ends of the pitch. In the other group, Athletico Behavis decried their lack of game time by qualifying top of the group by beating Malaga C 2-1 in the deciding group game. The other games in group B finished 0-0.
The day was enjoyed by all players and all whilst following the Covid19 protocols.
