We have some news to share about Colin, a long-time member of WFS. Colin, known affectionately as Colin the Manc,will be returning to the UK permanently on the 12th of September, 2024. He has been an integral part of our community for over 6 years, initially playing at our original venue in Elveria and then at Finca Naundrop and regularly at Benalmadena before the pandemic.

Although many members at Benalmadena may not be familiar with Colin, he is truly one of the nicest individuals in walking football. He has proven himself to be a dedicated and skilled player, primarily as a center-half and goalkeeper, but also a true sportsman.

Colin’s departure will be felt deeply,especially by those at Calahonda. I want to take this opportunity to wish him and his family the best of luck in their new adventure. Most of us won’t see him before he leaves, but we hope that he enjoys every moment of this new chapter in his life.
