It was good to welcome back Jim King after his winter hibernation in the frozen north – Norway to be exact. He had still not fully awakened, witness his late miss from close in which inched past the post with Frieda off-balance in the Red goal.

A close but high scoring encounter was anticipated but our three in form top goalscorers were not all in tip-top form. Max was unavailable through injury and Andrew, currently scoring for fun.was clearly unwell prior to the game.
This left Gaza as the only available sharpshooter and he did not disappoint, scoring four for the victorious Blacks. Paul D. also hit one into the Red net guarded alternatively by Scott and Frieda.
Paul Durrant contributed two fine scores for the Reds and Ulsterman David A. also put his name on the scoresheet.
