Well it’s not often that the Costa Del Sol has a game cancelled or delayed due weather conditions, however, today’s game came close.
As all players woke up and looked outside they couldn’t believe their eyes as they discovered a thick fog had descended on the coast. The Whatsapp group burst into action as many players started checking on the weather in Benalmadena and along the coast.
The weather in Benalmadena did seem to be worse than other areas along the coast but as the fog seemed to be lifting in Fuengirola and Calahonda the players set off to the game. As predicted the fog slowly disappeared and by the end of the match we were playing in the sunshine again.
Normal service resumed, happy days!
