Game 1 heralded the return of Colin to the playing ranks and Dave Owl himself unavailable for selection took control of the refs whistle.

In a well matched game a dramatic dive by Colin in goal as the ball flew safely wide sparked some momentum and a goal team goal was immediately scored with Bambi adding to his goal tally for the season.
Dave Owl was finding his feet as ref and kept the game flowing where possible.

Post game we sheltered from the sun on the balcony where Geoff was saying that there was nothing better than a bottle of water after a game, the roar of agreement was unsurprisingly absent.
