Into the 2nd period, from a corner, Dave 🦊 hit a low hard ball to the edge of goalmouth, where Steve dangled out his left leg to score a flashing own goal… Blacks 1-0
Keef playing in goal for the Reds was using the Drop Back Keeper to its limits…. He went on a left back run (sorry Walk) with a pass intended for Ken ⭐, Dave 🦊 intercepted and slotted the ball neatly into the back of the net.. Whoops… Blacks 2 nil….
Walter🐘 was now playing at centre forward for the Reds. “I am a centre half”, he kept telling everyone, until he took the ball with his left foot, turned with speed of a grazing snail and calmly slotted the ball past H with his right foot…. Blacks 2-1
In the 4th period, the Commander made 2 crucial saves, one punching a ball away from Pete🐟 and the second a low ball to his left, saved with his fingertips…. and then proceeded to complain of back ache…!
In the last period, Graham 🪰 took a shot at goal with Klaus🇸🇪 putting in a face to face tackle, with the ball looping into the air, Klaus went for another touch, slotting it neatly into his own goal….
An enjoyable game with the Blacks winning 3-1…
