Countdown to the next game
Match report by Zorro
On yet another beautiful summers day at the Retamar, the orange and yellow tabards faced up on the field of battle and neither side gave any quarter in a high quality advert for walking football.
Oranges started the more lively and despite having plenty of the ball, a combination of moving goalposts and exceptional keeping ( It looked like he knew what he was doing. something that rarely happens here on the costa) . Totally against the run of play, the Yellows scored through Welsh Steve and the Yellows started to come back into the game.
Max equalised for the orange tabards , only for Welsh Steve to score whilst the Yellows were on top.
During the 3rd half, the oranges stayed well on top and Kevo, in goal for the oranges even had enough time to ‘ do a deal’, thereby totally fooling the Guardia Civil, who were having a quick fag break.
Max scored his second goal to equalise the scores at 2 all just before the end of the 3rd half.
Oranges pressed throughout the fourth half and were rewarded with the winning goal and the hat trick goal for Max.
Going forward, kevo will continue to take orders for pies and sausage rolls on a Monday for delivery Thursday. Prices very reasonable and FREE delivery ( was that alright kev? )
Finally, a word about keith, Unfortunately, he wore out the pea in his whistle today . He blew it that often that all the sheepdogs in the area were looking for sheep to round up!
